I HAVE HAD MY TANK ABOUT SEVEN WEEKS. I HAVE TESTED THE WATER AND EVRYTHING IS FINE EXCEPT MY PH. I HAD TO DO A FEW PARTIAL WATER CHANGES TO BRING DOWM THE AMONIA. NOW I HAVE PH SO LOW THAT MY FISH ARE SWIMMING AT THE TOP OF THE TANK, EVEN MY ALGAE EATERS. I HAVE TRIED TO BRING IT UP WITH A PH ADJUSTER BUT THAT IS NOT HELPING . PLEASE HELP BEFORE THEY DIE. I HAVE A SIXTY GALLON TANK WITH MOLLIES AND TETRAS. :

For some reason, this post was sitting in the queue in the Fish Index section. Moved to Emergencies.

Step 1: THROW AWAY THE PH ADJUSTERS

Step 2: Post the full water stats Amonia / Nitrite / Nitrate / pH of tank and tap water

step 3 - kill the cap locks

amen...

how long has the tank been up and running?

High ammonia can alter the ph, what is the ph of the tap water, don't use chemicals to alter ph causes more problems in the long run.
