I was just wondering if anyone have any of these fish or know allot about them??? they are "Dangerously venomous" but i still had to have them ! now I'm worried that my fish keeping hobby could be over quicker then i thort if i got stung and died :unsure:

I don't think they are that venomous

They do get big tho and are happier in a shoal

yeah but people die from bee stings

I'm not saying they shouldn't be treated with respect but no worse than lion fish

Ahh right glad you put it that way put my mind at ease! just one more thing can i still go about putting my hole hand/arm in to clean my tank ????? would you could you do this with lion fish???

Neither Lion or Rabbit fish have stopped me putting my hand in the tank - just make sure u know where the catfish is

Yes I would agree I read all the time that lionfish sting kills :grr: only in extreme cases will this happen, and while I know nothing about your new fish I suspect its the same. I have been told that a portugeuse man of war jelly fish sting will kill you too, but I got stung by one last year while on holiday, yes it hurt like hell, but I'm still here to tell the tale :thumbs:

As for putting your arm in the tank, as long as you know where the fish is all the time, do things slowly, and don't make sudden movement, you should be fine :good:
