Im thinking about getting rid of my clown loach, as i have being advised to many times :/ , would a pleco be any good in a 70L, i also saw a black thing in my LFS today it was about 1" long and was a bottom feeder and ideas what it was?

As long as you do regular maintenace and have a decent filter then one of the smaller Plecos will be fine. The most popular one is the Bristlenose Catfish which grows up to 6", so it would be fine in your tank.

Yeah i wanted a yoyo loach but im reluctant to get rid of the Clown Loach, getting another yoyo would make it 'worse' would'nt it.Isnt there anything else i can add to make a school with the clown loach, im sure i have read something like that lol.

The trouble is, the Clown Loach is going to outgrow your tank and unless your upgrading soon it'd be best to rehome him now before you get too attached. :/

plecs are just as messy as any other fish tbh as long as your filter is working ok you will be ok i recomend bn as they are very hardy plecs

cheers dane

Yep the clown loach will outgrow your tank, also the longer you keep it in your tank the worse the stunting it will have when you eventually do sell it. Plus they also do better in groups. IMO some more yo-yo loaches sound like a good idea.
