Plecos

my tank has just come down with ich and i dont know if plecos are classified as scaless fish i dont want to put in too much medication and kill it . in the tank i have 1 pleco. 2 oscars. in 1 of my other tanks i have pictus cats and columbian sharks which i know are but that tank is not sick.
any info would be great

I have a Bristlenose Plec in my tank and have been dosing at half strength since the instructions include catfish. Which medication are you using ? My understanding is that Plecs are classified as "armoured" which is usually regarded as scaleless.

I'd dose at half and see how it goes, last thing you want to do is transfer the plec to a healthy tank in case he's carrying the parasites.
