Pleco

Hi all,
came back from staying at my friends today and noticed the pleco has got a cut on his back, hes a fully grown sailfin pleco, he seems ok, will this cut heal by itself or do i need to remove him from the tank and treat him, he seems to be swimming around happily (when the lazy arse moves!) and eating.. so the question is do i just leave him be and let things right himself or take him out, quarantine him and give him some medication for the cut?

How deep is the cut and does it look sore and inflamed, what do you think he cut himself on, if you have sharp ornaments i would sand the edges down with sand papar.

as long as your water quality is good it should heal on its own... If its not looking any better in a few days - treat the tank
