Pleco- :)

well...i put my Pleco (Ceasar) from 10g to a 29 gallon.... he is a decent size now and it is amazing to just watch him do this "dance" to protect his food (algae waffers) or the zucchini i have in a vegie clip. The other fish try to get a peice and he does this "dance" around it to get them to leave...sometimes he does get forceful and charge them for a split second... i wish i could get it on video because it is just so interesting to watch. When he senses they are close (they as in = my other fish) he moves toward them with his dorsal fin raised its cool!!!! well just thought i would share this!!!

Anyone else got an agressive/protective pleco?!!?

What type of plec is he do you know?

I have a sailfin leopard spotted pleco.

He is a lot of fun to watch, the Oscar picks on him and he ignores him and takes it for an amazingly long time. But when he has had enough all H*** breaks loose. The Pleco chases him in circles till the Oscar goes back to his side of the tank and behaves himself.

i am not to sure what type he is... umm let me describe him. black/brown with orange spots.... umm not sure what type that falls into! but he puts that pictus catfish and gourami back in place!!! anyone have index of pleco/pics so i can compare?
