Pleco with strange burn looking white patch

hi, im not sure wot is wrong with this poor guy, he used 2 sit under the heater, so i am not sure if it is a burn with scar tissue, or if it is sumthing else, if u cud help that wud be great!

it could be a burn i would add some melafix and see if that helps poor little fellow

LOL ilove the way u say lil fellow, i hate feeding them, if he tries 2 get near the top i have to get my bf 2 feed him lol.

the air thing he is leaning on is abt 14" long, n hes as long as it!

he is pretty I have one that is almost two foot long he can eat a hand ful of shrimp pellets at once I think they are such a cool fish I got mine named batman if you could see him make his way threw the tank you would know the reason why I named him batman. I am going to send a picture of him this evening. check out the pictures I am getting ready to put him on there he is so cool. oh and I hope yours gets ok for you to.

do you by any chance have salt in the tank that might be it happened to my pleco

hiya, no there is deffinatly no salt in the water.

i understand y u have named urs batman!! as they are sail fin, so wen they have a nice big tank they go everywhere! ours used 2 live behind the filter, and neva came out, but now, he has a made a gf out of the albino red fin shark, and he goes all ova the place, the only thing i dnt like 2 much is wen he jumps out of the tank at nite, cus it wakes me up with the splash it makes! lol

hes a nice fish, but bc him and the other pleco we have wiped out a whole tank we have to keep an eye on him, and neva let him and his mate share a community tank.
