Pleco ID help. Female Bristle nose?

Hi all

I got a bristlenose fry a month or so ago now. It's getting bigger but it has no bristles. Am I right that it may be a female? Or maby not a bristlenose at all?

Yes that's a bristlenose. It may be a bit young to tell still I think. You can generally tell at about 6 months old and sometimes a month or two earlier depending on the conditions.
