why does my 6-8inch pleco pile my sand up so its 8inch deep with his tail

I think it's pretty normal for there to be a bit of burrowing.

i dunno. mine does it too. just as ive flattened my sand so it looks all nice, he rummages straight into it and sits there for aaaaaaggggeeeeesssss. looks a right mess when he moves. maybe it keeps him warm/cold or they look for food under the surface.

thanks . my tank has two stingray pleco arowana

Mine does this also, normaly after i put food in the tank. Then my cory's come an flatten it out again.
