Hi guys i know i am new to this, but i desperately need help with my fish.

I have written 2 posts asking for help.......how do i get it

Other people have written similar posts and have got lots of advice...so what am i doing wrong?

Where your post I will take a look for you.

How many gallons or litres is the tank.
Goldfish are massive waste producers so they need 20 galons for the first goldfish, then ten gallons for every other goldfish added.
What are your water stats in ammonia,nitrite, nitrate and ph.
Also with goldfish being massive waste producers they need double the filter size to the tank.

Any white bumps on the Pectoral fin as that a sign of a male.
Sounds like mating behavour to me.

We think its a mating thing too....... as we are new to the hoby its a bit scarey when your fish act funny and you cant get help, so i really appreciate your time.

We been told the male will pester the female to death cos of the hormones it gives off, untill she lays her eggs, so its been suggested that we separate them. They both seem a lot happier.
By all accounts once she lays her eggs the hormones will stop so the male will leave her alone.
We will just have to be pretty quick if we want him to fertilize the eggs to try and breed them.....maybe as newbies its not a good idea, althought my hubby has bred Guppies... is Oranda breeding difficult???
