I don't know anything about painted parrot fish though I'm suspect off the bat with the word painted b4 a fish's name. Any way, I've been looking for a nice home for one of my black med/large fw angels. This family contacted me and this is there first email
We currently have 2 angel fish in our 55 gallon tank. We would really like to adopt your black angel fish from you to add to our family. The kids love angel fish and I know that adopting yours would really make them extremely happy.
and there second answering some questions i had
Our tank has been up and running for about a year. We have a couple minoes and about 5 painted parrot fish and like I said 2 angel fish and 1 sucker fish.

Since I know nothing of parrots, here i am. How big do they get? Are they aggressive? My black angel has been beaten up enough in his life and I wont put him in a bad situation.
thanks guys

so i emailed this person again to ask if these fish are dyed and she said no, they are bred that way. Does she know what she's talkign about?

painted parrot fish are usually dyed

and whoever calls a pleco or oto or whatever a suckerfish can't know too much about fish themselves, thus not knowing there fish are died.

that's what I'm thinking as well. Plus don't parrots get kinda big? In my add I stated for experienced fish keepers to respond only. Now I should email her back but I hope I don't offend her. What am I gonna say? You and your kids aren't good enough for my fish? Luckily a guy just emailed me and he has a 55g with only one angel in it. That sound perty good though i will have to quiz him

just say that unfortunately, the angel developed _______ and you wouldn't feel comfortable giving someone a sick fish. if she presses you further, say he died! you can cry on command, right gaya? :p

Well the other person is coming over right now. yah. He has four tanks two fw and two marine. he was suprised that these people have angels with parrots. The other people sent me an email but this time it was the husband. here is his email
Hello,

I am the owner of the tank, Christopher. I purchased all of the tank items and fish from Seaworld and spent more time learning about taking care of the tank than anyone. I measure all of the necessary levels, PH, nitrates, temp, chlorine, chloramine, on a weekly basis. I probably have 2-3 hundred worth of fish in the tank and the fish will have a good home

Let me know

I'm just not gonna email back because I feel bad. Though 2-3 hundred worth of fish? are parrots that expensive? wow.

Parrots Can Be Mega Expensive Depending on what breed they are.

If He has King Kongs then they are Expensive.

Mixing Parrots and Angels Is Doomed to end in treagedy, Too Much temptation to eat the fins and the Angels.

Parrots are Very Strong Fish and Don't Let Go of you easily without a Fight (From an Experience Not forgotten)

I didn't think putting angels in with parrots was a good idea either.

Well my black beauty is gone and i hope he or she (think it's guy) pairs up with the other angel and has a happy life. The buyer told me he'd keep in touch and let me know how blacky is doing. This was the first time I ever met another fish person so it was fun talking with him.

It's good to see you found him a good home with someone who is willing to keep you updated. Didnt like the sound of the parrots either, i thought parrots were best kept alone or with other tougher cichlids.

You could always respond to those e-mails with "Unfortunately the fish you are requesting has been adopted by someone else or is in the process of being adopted or there have been many requests for this fish and I will get back to you if you are chosen" or something like that :p Great to here you found it a home though ;)
