First off what size tank do you have?

Second, The Red-tailed black shark is going to attack anything that looks like a shark. Betta's are also not good community fish. But mainly, what size tank do you have.

hi thanks for your reply the tank is 2100 litre 39" long 20"high it is quite a big tank its not the red tail shark thats causing the problems the bullies seem to be the convicts and now the goramies but the thing is the we never had the convicts when the first fish died

You sure you don't mean 210L because if you had a 2100L tank it would be 555 gallons.

well the other masurments must be wrong im useless with a tape measure i no its defo a 2100 litre as it says it on the lid of tank

8'x4'x2' is a 500 gallon, a 2100 liter tank holds 2100 kg of water, as 1 liter=1kg.

Could you post a picture of this tank?

well, one reason why ur guppy might of died, because they always need to be in groups of at least 3. It might of got loanly and died.
