Okay, so I noticed the other day my little Oscar has hole-in-the-head disease, I feel terrible because this apparently means the water quality is poor and the fish is stressed out :( He's about 3" long and he has his own 30gallon tank (until he becomes large enough to go in the 120gallon where my Arowana is) I missed this weeks water change on his tank, and a day after the change I noticed he had a gap in his head and whitish film flowing off of it... I did research and found it was hole-in-the-head disease... Currently I have him on general cure, which is supposed to cure hole-in-the-head... I'm curious though, firstly how long will it take to work and wipe out the disease? and secondly... Will the holes in his head ever not be holes... not sure if that made sense so I'll rephrase it, will the holes get filled in with more flesh? or will he just have a couple little gaps in his head?

Already have the information from that site, but I never saw anything about the pits remaining or not... I assumed the ones they have pictures of were ones left untreated for a while... I added some marine salt to the tank as suggested on that site, and it seems to have haulted the process, but just to be safe I'll be continuing his GC treatment for another atleast 2 weeks... Thanks for the help Wilder
