;) Hi all please help me as i recentley bought a 4ft tank full set up from pets at home and after setting it and filling it ready to mature it is ever so slightly wobling as a member of the family pass in front of the tank . and the big question to you is do i have to move it or can i solve this wobble where it stands and is there any danger in this slight wobble...many thanks in advannce....

Is the tank on a completely even and flat surface? Where is the wobble coming from i.e. from the floorboards or tank stand etc?

i used a spirit level to ensure that the tank and stand was even before filling and as the wobble only started after the filling was finished so it has to be at the floor boards mate i just hope that i do not have to empty and have to try and move the tank what do you recomend ...many thanks..

If the tank is wobbling you are going to have to move it, sorry, or it could be a disaster waiting to happen.

Or at least find the weak spot and get it stable and leveled.

thanks for the replys i will try and level the tank as it definately is the floor boards as the base and stand are perfectly flat and as this problem only happened after filling the tank.
will it be possible to level the base using lamminate bords under the front of the base...???
again many thanks for the help..

Would you be able to put a plank of wood underneath the legs of the stand, but running across the floorboards?

Another option if it's a metal stand, could you replace it with a cupboard type stand that would distribute the weight more evenly on the floor?
