Please help!

I've been on all the fish disease sites and can't seem to find out what is wrong with my favorite black molly.

It started with this whitish shiny look to his his tail fin. I gave him two salt dips, that didn't help. Now it's started to show on his body. And he's having great trouble using the lower part of his body, it seems to hang or droop. He's eating, but looking thinner.

It's not ich, none of my fishes have white salt like spots, but some do flick and flash.

Please any suggestions or diagnoses would be greatly appreciated.

I do a 10% water change every week and as far I know my, levels are good.

I am still a beginner.

Thanks so very much. I'm very worried.

Velvet has small spots. Smaller than ich. I'm sure that's not the problem.

But thanks for the input.

Could be slime a parasite or bacteria infection, but with the flicking and rubbing it sounds like parasite,in the uk you can buy a slime and velvet med by interpet, so try and get a med like that if you live in the us one for slime desease.
