Please Help Save My Fish. Need Help.

I hope someone can help me that has a clue. Ive had friends offer advice that my fish has Ich but I dont belive it.

"Big Blue" developed this Bump on his mouth many months ago while in my large tank. I moved him to a small 10 Gallon tank about 6 weeks ago and he was doing fine. About 10 days ago I noticed the Bump was getting larger. I went to the Store with a picture and some water They instructed me to use a product called Maracyn-Oxy. I started using it and "Big Blue" stopped eating after about 4 days and would just sit at the bottom of the tank & every once in a while looking like he was having a seizure.

Last Thursday I ran a Nitrate test and it was Very High, so I did a Water change of about 75% with treated Tap water. Later that day he started swiming again and moving around the tank, even came up for food. Friday he didnt eat and Over the weekend he developed all these white looking patches on his body. Is this all Cotton mouth? What can I do? Please help.

ok could be im not sure what ever cotton mouth ive seen looks "fluffier" could be a tumor but it does look like it may be fungus

Looks to me like he has multiple problems. The mouth thing looks like a tumor, or maybe bubbles filled with puss or parasites?

The body's white patches look like a fungus, but there is also the "sprinkling" of white spots that look like ich!

Do those water changes to get those nitrates down. In the future weekly water changes of 50% will keep your water quality good.

To treat Big Blue, if it was me, I would raise the temperature in the tank slowly, and use the salt treatment. Make sure you have good airation in your tank! The salt will treat the ich, and it may benefit his other symptoms as well.

I have the tank currently at about 82. Should I go higher? Also should I continue with the Maracyn-Oxy which claims to treat bacterial, fungal and viral infections?

And lastly, in a 10 Gallon tank, how much salt should I add?

If you already have started treatment then you should stick with it and finish the treatment! Do not mix treatments!!!! 82 degrees is very warm, I would not raise it further!
