One of my two honey dwarf gouramis is on her last legs. I woke this morning to find her led on the bottom of the tank, on her side and she is taking very small, slow gasps.... i dont know what to do or why she has become like this....

She has been absolutely fine the last few weeks (i added the two gouramis about two weeks ago) it just seems like she has become ill over the last day.

What can i do to save her and stop her dying? im new to all this so your have to bear with me but please help....

Unfortunitly i dont have a hospital tank, but if it would help then i will go and get one. How do i set the hospital tank up? is there any products i can put in my tropical tank to help this dying gourami without effecting the other fish?

I added two Rosy barbs last week end... could this be why she is dying? they dont pick on her or anything so i cant see why it would be them, but i thought id ask?

what can i do?

Anyone? I've just got home from work and the gourami is still gasping at the bottom of the tank. She looks even worst now. i dont think she will make it through the rest of today...

How many gallons or litres is the tank, how many fish and which type, water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
It not good that she laying on the bottom heavy breathing sorry, it sounds like a bacterial infection, is the fish looking slightly bloated.
Plus what do you feed your fish.
