ok i have 2 tanks, a 5 and 10gal
these are my fish
2 sailfin mollies(im debating wether i should get rid of them or not)
1 rosey barb
1 weather loach
2 zebra danios
2 neon tetras
2 female gups
2male gups
2female platies
1 male platie
1 cory

aanndd thats it.
SO i need to know, what fish i should have in the 10gal, and what fish i should have in the 5gal.

just remember, im trying to find new homes for my mollies, so i might not have them, but if i do, i would also like to know what tank to have them in.
thanks for your help!!
btw ive had tanks for a long time, but i just started researching and realizing that i have so much more to learn. so please help, FOR THE SAKE OF MY PRECIOUS FISH!
oh yea and im never ever getting rid of my platies, im too attached

IMO I'd put the platies, either the male or female guppies, and cory in the 10gal and add 2 more cories (they do better in group)
In the 5 gal I'd put the 2 female guppies, and you could add a couple of shrimp or a snail or two if you are diligent on water changes.

If you put the male and female guppies together you'll soon be overridden with fry, the same might happen anyway with the platies. The rosey barb is too large for either tank. The weather (or dojo) loach is also too large, it's adult size is around 10 inches. I'd probably get rid of the mollies as well, I've kept them in a ten gallon before, but they seem to do better in a larger tank. Neon tetras need to be kept in groups of 6 or more, they are also very sensitive to water conditions.

However, if you want to keep all of the fish, I'd recommend you get a 30gal tank or larger.
