Please Help Me Identify

This just showed up unexpectedly in my tank. It's only about 1 cm wide. I'm worried that it may be nuisance anemone. It's on the algae and moving very slowly.

if yes then its aptasia and is a pest anemone

get the rock out and soldering iron it

I tried to attach a photo but it didn't work. It looks white with fat arms.

I'll keep an eye on it. I guess I should just leave it in the tank then. I'm not sure what will happen if the emerald crab sees it though.

looks like a baby "pincushion" or Asterina Starfish to me. I have 2 or 3 in my tank, just under 1cm.

I think that's just chromatic abberations caused by the angle of the camera and the water. Note on the left there is a lot of orange around the outside but on the right hand side, there is a lot of blue. The colours don't really exist, its just the way the light is being distorted by the time it hits the lens.

Anemone = A sea Anemone is a predatory animal.

They are animals that live in both marine and freshwater environments. Anemones have a base that is attached to some surface, like a rock. On its other end are both a mouth and stinging tentacles. These tentacles are covered with special cells called nematocysts. These cells have a barb that shoots out when touched. These barbs are venomous and can sting or stun prey. Once prey is subdued the tentacles bring it into the mouth where it is digested. Once digestion is complete the undigested material is egested through the mouth.
