Hiya, Im in desperate need for advice,

Ive had a tropcial fish tank for over 4 months now and everything has been fine, Ive lost one guppy and a neon tetra in the past and thats it, all my water has been ok, Im hoping to save up for a tester kit for ammonia, nitrate, etc- because i havent tested the water in a long way

Ive been away from home 2 days, i got home today, and one of my guppies was floating around dead, all its colours had gone, and also its tail had completely gone!???

thats not the worst of it, my algae eater was also dead? and i had another neon tetra missing?

and then my other favourite guppy was struggling to swim with no tail?? yet it was alive?

I have no idea what has happened,

I added in a pakistani loach a couple of weeks ago to help control my infestation of snails in my tank... and he seems to be chasing a lot of my fish? Im worried its him thats eating my guppys tails?

But theres no reason for my algae eater dying?

all together in my tank I have a....

1 Swordtail
Now 2 male guppies (use to have 4)
3 cardinal tetras
Albino Corydoras (hes always been friendly?)

and thats it??

Please could someone give me some advice? Its seems weird to be fin rot?

but i was wondering if anyone has experienced this??

Hiya
You would be better off posting in the live bearers section or tropical discussions :good:
