Please Help - Fish Death Epidemic

The tank has a good surface area and is a good size - the only fish I have tried to add are dwarf cichlids as they dont grow too large. Plus - one of the angels is a runt and has never grown so he takes up no space at all.

I always switch the lights off and settle the bag (even temp in water and add small amounts of tank water before transferring them) when introducing the fish. I just keep lights on during the day and there's nothing wrong with that. As I said they're all very active, happy fish.

Seems a shame as I say no-one knows whether they had a bad journey to the shop have disease or anything . Don't loose heart soon things will change

Add 2 air stones and add one dose of melafix

Well I've got the air stone on now pretty much constantly (apart from overnight) and all the fish seem happy enough. I actually added a dose of melafix after the kribs died, and that's just filtering out now with every water change.

I'll have to see how the O2 levels bear up.

I know what you mean tetraqueen. It's in these instances you feel so damn helpless. You try everything in the book and read up on every symptom and it still cant be controlled. I hope it's not the quality of our LFS because it seems to be one of the best around. Although often there have been dead fish in tanks. I dont think they can even guarentee it half the time. I'm just gonna have to persevere, and hope that the rest of the tank's inhabitants are ok. There hasn't been a repeat since the pleco, so I'm hoping all will be fine.
