Please Help Asap My Catfish Looks Like Hes Shedding His Skin

please tell me what is happening to my catfish he looks like hes shedding from the head,down and a couple of our other fish looked the same but from the back to the front

Bless, he's looking a bit sorry for himself. Any other symptoms? At this point I'm thinking it's bacterial.

what can i do hes in a pretty bad way he normaly wont even let you look at him and he swims of but i cought him quite quick no fighting .ive had him from a baby and hes nearly 2 inch can i save him

not eating , just laying in same spot ive tryed crushed flakes , catfish pellets , micro worm and hes having none of it

At this time of night there's not much you can do I'm afraid. Do you have any anti bacterial meds? Can you quaratine him? Clean water and peace and quiet are about the best you can do I'm afraid.

I don't think so. Do a water change in the morning and get some anti bacterial med. And get some sleep! He looks like a fighter, if he's still there in the morning then fingers crossed you can nurse him then.

How many gallons or litres is the tank.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Stredding skin can be a number of things from bad water quality, parasites to bacterial.
Any sign of flicking and rubbing.
Columnaris can make the skin peel.
