Please Could I Have Some Advice

Hi all im Emma
Ive only had my tank set and running up now for about 4 weeks
but so far Ive got 5 cardinal tetras 2 paradise fish and an algae eater and i love them all to bits
can anyone pls recommend some colourful fishes that can go into a peaceful tank that i should be on the look out for ?
its just that they dont always look the same in the shops as they do in the glosssy pics in the books
i have a small shop near me but they dont have a very big range is there anywhere in east sussex that anyone would recommend?

Tell us how big your tank is in litres or gallons then we'll be in a better position to suggest some fish x

Hello

Personal (of course) favourites (and are beginner fish - good for me then ) ....

Ram Cichlid Mikrogeophagus ramirezi (aka: Ram Cichlid, Butterfly Cichlid, Blue Ram, German Ram)
Neon Tetra (of course)
And you can't better a Betta Splendens (Siamese Fighting fish) for stunning looks (but can restrict your choice of other fish that can go in with them).

Concider that the above fish should be in a min grouping of 6 individuals (apart from the Betta of course!!!! Keep him on his own).

Guppies (but don't mix with a Betta)
