Ive been very busy at work last few days and Im now off for two days, and decided tommorow i want to go and buy some new fish!!

At the moment I have a 340 bow front tank with a pair of pearl gourami's, 9 2" Denisoni Barbs, 3 Red eye tetras and 3 Black tetras ( i know these like larger groups but have just lost several, half of them are best mates with the Barbs) then an assortment of corys think i have about 10 or so and two zebra loach.

So i was thinking maybe something like some cherrby barbs, possibly tiger barbs it just needs that little bit more and i have some spare cash and time so gunna treat myself!!

what would anyone suggest???

I think you need to be more specific. To start with, I'm assuming that's 340 litres, but it's not specified, which cories and how many? Some max out at 2cm others at 5 or 6 inches. These things make a large difference.

Cherry barbs for me! They look great in a big tank.

I love denisons - you could go with a colour scheme and stick to silver black and red.

I have serpae tetras and black widow tetras and they would fit into that colour scheme.

was supposed to be litres yeah sorry, thought about typing it just didnt I have 3 Julii, 5 bronze, 2 sterbai and a couple similar to julii but with like a dark patch over the face which all i have had for 2 years now and none are bigger than 3 inch.

any suggestions now then??
