Please Advise - Could He Be Rescued And Survive?

Hi, this little guy is for sale on an auction. He looks dreadful. If I can, I'd like to get him and give him a home as fast as possible but I don't know if he'd survive an overnight courier (which is what the seller offers). Also, does he have fin rot on his poor torn tail?

Poor baby. I don't think he will make it I am sorry to say.

If it was me personally I would try to get him so he wouldn't die in misery.

Gutted and angry at mistreatment that seems to have occurred . Thank you for your advice. Have tried to buy but can't get him. Seller has withdrawn this wee guy and another battered betta, says he's 'gone.' I bet the poor little things have died.

He probably did die, try to buy the new one maybe he will survive.

The seller has withdrawn both - don't know if both died or if he will relist the other one. I'm watching the seller's account to see if there's a relist. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the hopeful advice....

When I buy fish at Bensens or Petsmart I usually look for the betta's that look crappy. I got a scraggly looking blue and red crowntail betta last January at Petsmart and now he is beautiful. His red is brilliant and the blue is deep. His name is Lucifer because of the phrase "Handsome little devil"
