i have a ten gallon fish tank and want to get a common plecostomos for my fish tank. will it grow to the size of the tank or will it grow to its full size like around the 20-24 inch mark?

not a good option at all the only thing i would recomend is a buldog plec or a bn but never a common in a 55 gal never mind a 10 gal it wil stunt it to hell

thank you so much for that reply. my friend still wont believe me that putting in a common pleco in a 10 gallon is a bad idea. well hopefully you will help me show him that it is a bad thing to do. sadly it will be hard to convince him. well thanks for helping me prove my point!

i wouldn't suggest putting a common in there. Like was mentioned, a bulldog pleco would go great in a tank that size.
