Ok, I'm not planning on breeding fish yet, but i was wondering how well platys breed. We just got 6 platy's today, and I was just thinking weather or not they'd get a bit frisky...

I don't really know about platies, but I'm pretty sure that if there's at least one male in there, they're getting jiggy with it...

They will breed very easily but make sure you have the right male to female ratio - ideally only one male and the rest as females.

Are you able to sex them?

They will definitely breed very readily.
