can some one help please ive got 3 platys and they all have what looks like a white spoty fungus which is getting worse by the day? can anybody tell me what it is please and how to get rid of it.. all the rest of the fish are fine.. cheers
 
get some treatment: waterlife, protozin. works for both illnesses you have said. do a 20% water change and vac the gravel. you can up the tep 2 degrees also, but i found it doesnt really effect anything

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia,,nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Where is the fungus on the fish.
Does it look fluffy looking if so it columnaris.

the fungus is all over the fish in small pockets and it does look fluffy.. its a 2oo litre tank and all the nitrate and ph are ok? i have 19 fish
3 platys, 4 tiger barbs, 4 red eye tetras, 4 sherpa tetras 2 very big silver dollars, 1 albion shark 1 si fighting fish

take a sample of your tank water to the lfs and ask them to write the readings down for you.
For columnaris in the uk myxazin by waterlife and pimafix,
United states maracyn one and two.

plus it just seems to be the platys that have this problem?
