hi people. ive got 5 platys in my tank-3 female and 2 males. all 3 females have given birth in the past few days and ive got fry hiding all over the place. thing is one of the mother platys then got ill yesterday. she was barrel rolling and banging into things and eventually gave in and died. the other 2 have been fine although one is very small and she appeared to be shattered after her ordeal and has since come round and is feeding again. ive done nitrite,nitrate and amonia tests and all were fine last night. the tank is an aqua one ufo 550 and had a water change and vac 4 days ago with filter media cleaned and pump cleaned. other fish in there are 2 tiger barbs,2 clown loach,5 danios,1 pleco and a baby platy approx 5 week old. they all get on ok. any reason for her sudden death? many thanks!
