If there was females in before, they was probably pregnant, even if the male showed no intrest in her, she may have already been pregnant without him, has females can carry sperm packets for up to 6 drops (6-8 months)..

thats brill now i have got another molly, good that its a female too means as she gets older my male with have a companion.

sorry to hijack this thread but I have exactly the same fry as nosoup and three appeared after I put new plants and platy and swordtails into my tank any chance they could have been transfer from the shop. they appeared within 2 days!

Are the eyes as hugely disproportionate to the head as they seem in the pic? If so, I'd say that they are Platies or Swords. They do look like my Mollies though...

Yes they look like cartoon fish all eyes and a few fins!! Im use to danio fry A black line with a couple of black dots at one end lol.

thank you I thought they were platies but it looked very similar to your mollie and I wondered where there come from now I can go back to thinking there from the platies now just need to work out which one looks least pregnant!
