Platys Eating Plants During Mini Cycle

MY tank has entered a new mini cycle so i have it restricted to a couple platys, my issue is that I want the plants to thrive in there to help the cycle but my platys keep ripping them up! Is there any plants they wont eat? Or aything I can do?

Anubias and Java moss are generally fish-proof. You can also try feeding the platys more vegetable matter in their diet.

platies love there greens, mine enjoy cucumber, carrot, peas
