Hi

I have three platy fry and a few molly fry about this big (............) I am wanting to take them out of my fry tank and put them into another tank, which has 2 guppies, and 4 tetra in, and a african drawf frog... question is will they be ok with those fish and also are they big enough now, not to get sucked into the filter....I need space in my fry tank as I now have more fry than I can cope with and although a good friend of mine has offered to take some fry off me as she has a tank standing empty I still need the room.

Any reply much appreciated.

Thanks

Debbie

i would of thought so, try them for a while and see how they go, if there is any problems then take them bk out, but at that size they should be able to look after themselves :)

I used to add my babies with the adults half that size and did not have a problem. It depends on your adults. It worked for me and I have heard of this, but if you keep them well fed they are less likely to attack the babies. Im not talking about feeding your adults all day, but give them a variety of frozen, live, and flakes. Give them Zuccinis occasionally and algae wafers. Basically like an all you can eat buffet throughout the week.

Zucchini? I take it that is what the brits call a courgette? :p
