My platy gave birth to one fry as far as i know i couple of days ago i think sunday i was wondering if the platy could have another and how many they usually have

Chances are she has allready given birth to the others. Does she still look pregnant? If the fry was born in with the other fish, chances are that the other babys may have been eaten or are hiding very well.....

She can have more. They can have them over the period of a week or so. But it's unusual for them to just have one at one time...are you sure they aren't hiding in the tank? Or they may have gotten eaten...

But yes, she can have more, especially if she still looks pregnant.
