I think my platy has dropsy since she is growing into a pinecone shape but I am totally not sure if it could be that or she is pregnant. If it is dropsy what can I do for her? Here are some pics and I know they are crappy. http://www.flickr.com/photos/67537901@N02/6610776885/

I can't see any pineconing in those photos, but as you say, the quality isn't as good as you'd want. Try clicking here. On the second page, next to the scantily clad lady, is an excellent picture of a fish with dropsy, showing the pineconing effect. Is this what your fish looks like?

She did have dropsy and tragically passed away a few hours after I posted this question.

Sorry to hear that. If it's any consolation, I have yet to hear of anyone who has had a fish survive dropsy, so there's probably nothing you could have done.

I hope she wasn't in that much pain.
