hi,
I have a blue tuxedo platy that's been hiding out in the plants for a few weeks now and tonight I noticed it looks like she's lost some scales just in front of her dorsal fin. The area looks grey in colour. I wondered if she's been bullied and that's why she's been hiding and the bullying has now escalated to real physical harm.
I've isolated the fish in my tiny little 'hospital tank' (10 litres) and added a good dose of stresscoat. I'm posting here as I really don't know what else to do for her. I can't confirm that she's lost scales by fighting. She could have a parasite for all I know (hence the isolation)
Has anyone got any suggestions?
The hospital tank has no light so getting a photo of her will be almost impossible until morning when the natural light is better
