I have a platy that has a much larger stomach than the rest of the ones I have. I’m new to fish keeping and was wondering if anyone could possibly tell me why and what I can do about it.

That is a female, if you have males in your tank then it’s likely she’s pregnant. They are livebearers and will give birth instead of laying eggs. I would separate her, that way the boys won’t bother her and the babies won’t be eaten by them.

Another possibility is if you notice her swimming weird, like on her side, then it could be a case of swim bladder or constipation.

She can be pregnant even without any males in the tank. Platy females, like other livebearers, can store sperm from a mating and use this sperm to fertilise her eggs for many months.

She looks like a healthy looking female platy. So, it's not bloat. She could be just wellfed or she could be carrying... But I certainly wouldn't worry about it.
