Platy Update

I posted in general and emergency regarding my platy who looked very thin, was hanging at the bottom of the tank and looked sad....well after 3 days in the quarantine tank (with salt)....she is looking and acting a lot better. Because she looked so think I have been feeding her every 4 hours when I am at home...so.....she gets fed when I get up (5.30am)....after work (3.30pm)....7.00pm and 10.00pm.....these extra feedings have seemed to plumped her up somewhat to that or a normal platy female. The feedings I gave her are only small....before each feed she still looks fairly thin but nowhere near as thin as she was prior to me doing this.....

Perhaps she is on the road to recovery....I am not getting too excited yet but it is looking good so far.....she will stay in the quar tank for 2-3 weeks then go back in the 30gal.....if she starts looking off colour again she may need ther TLC she can get in the quar tank....

That is fantastic! So glad that she is doing better! Perhaps all she needed was some TLC after all...

If she does end up needing TLC I will most likely move the swordy female to the 30gal and put TLC platy in the 6gal....i like to keep my quar tank for sick or new fish
