I've just noticed that one of my 2 platies which i've had for 3 days now has a small lump under it's skin just before it's tail. It's definitely under the skin and the skin itself isn't broken but it is protruding slightly.
It looks a bit like an insect egg ?
She doesn't seem to be bothered by it and is happily feeding and swimming around as normal.
Any ideas ? Could it be terminal ?
