Just lost a female platy, found her dead this morning on the bottom of the tank

New to hobby, first fish I've lost. Know it will happen but still sad when it does.

its gutting loosing your first fish, sorry to hear this, check your water stats to be on the safe side.

Yes I've checked water stats Modaz, and they are all fine. Not really able to pinpoint why the platy died but keeping a good eye on the tank and testing water regularly.

it might be just one of those things, were they have mysterious deaths, i have had this before, i had a beautiful fish one day and the next morning she was dead.
anyway good look with your future fishkeeping.
