Platy Question

yesterday, i brought home 4 blue platies. one of them looks like she's scratched her scales on something.... it's white, but not sticking out or anything. i didn't know what to do- but i put a little melafix in the tank... thought if it was something treatable, it might help. any idea what it might be? i looked for her this morning, but i think all 4 of them were hiding.

update: i found her she was dead in a floating plant....

I have some ideas, but I wouldn't jump to conclusions. Can you watch it carefully for the next couple of days to see if it grows larger or if any fish are pecking/ being mean to it?

i can't find two of the 4 anymore... the two i see are doing great- i think the other two are hiding... i hope

On an unrelated note, it's interesting indeed how the topic creator has the name of a main character from Kingdom Hearts, a game which Blitz (And I will not lie, myself) love to death. Coincidence? Hmmmm ...

I wish I had an update, I still can't find two of my platies. I'm really hoping they are just good at hiding- or I'm seeing all 4, but only 2 at a time.
