Platy problems

Hi, I've had 2 male platys in my tank since yesterday and i wok up this morning to see the black platy keep chasing the red platy and it keeps doing it. I've also noticed what looks like a slight nic on the tail fin on the red platy.

Should i be worried???

Do you have any other platys in total? Some people can have all male groups of livebearers like platys and guppys but it appears to only work out 50/50 per cent of the time; the nick on your platys tail is probably a bite wound from the other platy, i would use some Melafix in the tank just to make sure the wound doesn't get infected.
When it comes to bully fish there is not much you can do about it other than rehome the bully or victum...

I'd buy a few female platties, then the dominant male might have interests elsewhere.
