Platy Pregnant Again In Exactly 14 Days!?

Well I took a look at my tank today and my platy who had fry 14 days ago is pregant again as big as last time she had fry. how can it be this soon??

They store eggs and sperm, she could easily be pregnant again this soon.

Some people also think they grow multiple batches of fry at a time, in different stages of development. Perhaps this is true. That would also account for why she'd be so big already.

yeah i only found 3 in the tank last time...
