Platy Has Lost Top Lip...

i cant do the form as psp cant do copy and paste... and laptop just went bezerk...




somehow my male platy is missing his top lip... all water stats are perfect (0,0,40) and temp is 27... i moved him out of the tank i found him in and now in with my betta doughnuts who hasnt left his side... as usual...

i have background dosed with myxazin for precautions but neet ur advice...

you don't know how it lost it? does it/did it have mouth rot?

Maybe an aggressive fish took a nibble? Wouldn't you have seen mouth fungus or rot weeks in advance before it got so bad?

no mouth rot... i think crossfire could be right... hes eating as normal this am and i will see how he goes...

one of my platy has this..just Quarentined him. Been dosing Myxazin..for a week..no joy as yet! He also is suffering finrot big time.

my molly killed a pearl danio overnight... considering feeding her to the cat now...
