Platy Getting Close...

I think that one of the other platy fish I got the same time as the one that already dropped is getting pretty close... Here are a couple pics of her...

Hopefully as time goes on I will get much better at determining when it's time I am so glad to have found this forum! I love reading everyone's posts and experiences and seeing all the pics!

She is still looking huge today so no fry yet. I was hoping it would have happened this weekend since I have to work the next few nights. I would love to see her actually drop!

Aww she looks close, but it's always when you least expect it! I missed my females dropping their fry-just found them in the tank even though I was paying very close attention. Then my female dropped her 2nd lot of fry 2 days ago and I was lucky enough to witness it! Finally! lol.

I would trap her today if it was me, she is certainly close, but they can surprise you lol.

She is in the trap for the night. I will see if we have any fry in the morning when I get home from work I hope so!!!

make sure your fish tank lights are out while she is in there, also give her a little bit of food, and if your room is well lit, cover the tank so bright lights cant get in.
