Platy Fry

havnt been on here for a while last time i posted my platy had 46 fry 24 of them lived.
in her next group of babys she had 52 and 43 alive and all healthy
last night she had 56 fryi was just wondering why she has so many babys?
all my other platys have 10 to 30 fry each time she has loads as i have been rasing all my platys fry for
a long while now and that just seems like a lot.

Each livebearer is different but i had guppies that had many many babies so it might just be natural.

Congrat's, you obviously must be doing something right for all the fry. Do you plan to sell on or keep them.

My blue platy is a large female and she dropped the first time since i had her was around 50,the most was 71 ,i think the more mature they are,the more they may drop,although all platys are different
