Platy Fry

Quite possibly - depending on how many hiding places you have that the fry can get to, yet the larger fish can't.

Like your pebble cave as well - very nice!

i fin platys are the best for surviving as they always hide unlike guppies who come out thinking they rule the tank

I had a platy fry, and decided to move her to a little breeder tank hooked onto the side of my big tank. Shes three months old now, and a month and a half in the big tank. Shes big and healthy. If your not sure how yours will do in the tank, id get a breeder tank.

Well Trev2004, if my recent experience is anything to go by, you'll be giving them away soon  . Proliferate is not to strong a word, I now have over a hundred fry in the tank. It's geting nuts in there, but guess what, there is'nt an evil fish in the tank, and they dont touch a single baby. I'm wondering what to do with them all. I guess the best answer for your problem is just to watch for a change in behaviour of the other fish when the fry arrive. I'm off to see if my wag tail platty has guffed her payload into the tank aswell. Seems like all Ladies, they do it in sychro or tandem in my tank. The only complication being I have just planted the thing out big time! I won't catch them all this time round..... Nursery tank here we go again! :fun: Best of luck, it's a tense moment when they finally arrive :p

Browser gone silly...sorry, had to edit this one... :*)
