I have fry for the first time in age's, been playing with the idea of breeding platies or guppies again, but being guppies are terrble and seem to continously die on me for no reason. I desided on platies, so I have got myself some. I went to my LFS tonight, and they had the most beautiful male, I also got two very very pregnant girl, witch birthed in the bag on the way home, I put mum in a net for the time being, and left the fry in the bag, then will swop them over when she finnished.

I going to divied my 12g into 2 have the adults one side and the fry the other.

:D

GB - I think she means when you put the pregnant fish in one to give birth. That's when they get really stressed out, and are much more likely to abort or die from stress. For the fry, it's really fine to use them because the fry are so small. :)

Congrats on the babies, Ferrikins! Any pictures of the parents? :D
