i've read that you can tell the sex of platy fry by 2 months and they will start breeding by 3 months. mine are 2 1/2 months now and all still look like girls!
will they take much longer to show some maleness or are they just all female? -_-

what about balloon mollies? they are a bit younger than the platies but are both appearing female. i realise this is possible because there are only 2 of them but there are a lot more platies. :crazy:

can anyone help?! :blink:
 
with my platy, it took about 5 months to see he was a male. I don't know if that is all platies or just mine...but I thought he was female until he proved me wrong.
