Platy Fry Marking Question.

So, my red wag female Ember is pregnant and there are only two possible fathers, my panda platy Samurai or my other red wag Flare. If the father was Samurai, will I be able to tell from the markings since they'd be crossbred?

I would assume so. I accidentally bought a pregnant female (forgot to check gender before I left). She is a Mickey mouse platy but her fry have wag tails, all but one. She definitely mated with an orange wag.

Oh, that's a relief. I keep track of which strain each fish is, and I wouldn't want to label a panda/red wag as just an ordinary red wag.

I have some with wag tails and Mickey spots, 1 with a light Mickey spot, and most have the wag tails
