These guys will be five weeks old on Monday, they've grown massively over the last couple of weeks so thought I'd post an updated picture.
We've made a discovery that they're actually from our "Red" Platy rather than from our Sunset Wags as two of the 8 are carbon copies of her. Unfortunately one of the eight appears to have their tail at a strange angle compared to the rest of their body but appears to be coping well apart from being small.
The other lot are almost two weeks old and already are able to distinguish between some of them due to their black spotting.
We delayed putting the first lot in our main tank as we'd got so attached and the risk wasn't worth it, but the biggest 5 should be released within the next week or two. The algae problem has been solved one of our eaters discovered the net one night time and has cleaned it up nicely!
